 Chris Costa brings extensive experience in physical security industry to his new role at ComNet 
ComNet, Communication Networks of Danbury, Connecticut, a USA-based manufacturer of fiber optic transmission and networking equipment, has announced that Christopher Costa has been appointed as the company's Vice President of Engineering.

Chris Costa will report directly to Andrew Acquarulo Jr., ComNet President and COO. Until joining ComNet, Costa previously held the role of Director of Engineering at Radiant Communications and Fiber Options/GE Security and has more than 20 years of experience in the development of successful new products for the physical security industry.

Chris will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the ComNet engineering department including the development and expansion of the ComNet fiber optic and Ethernet transmission product line and planned engineering department expansion.

"Chris has an exceptional understanding of where the communication market is evolving," stated Acquarulo. "Chris will be tasked to expand our fiber optic, copper based and Ethernet solutions to truly give ComNet customers a distinct edge." Acquarulo continued.

Chris Costa has a Bachelors' Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University and a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York. Chris will be based in the ComNet Corporate offices in Danbury, CT.
