CBC (Europe)'s innovative Radar Vision system has been named a Finalist in the prestigious IFSEC Security Industry Awards

CBC (Europe)'s innovative Radar Vision system has been named a Finalist in the prestigious IFSEC Security Industry Awards. The surveillance based intruder detection system will now go on to compete this May in the Intruder Alarm Product of the Year category.

"Radar Vision's success is part of an internationally recognised, high profile awards scheme, which acknowledges the excellence of products and technological innovations that influence the industry and security best practice," says CBC's Sales and Marketing Manager, John Downie. "We're delighted to have been chosen by the judging panel as a Finalist."

Radar Vision offers unrivalled detection ability by not only detecting intruders but tracking and verifying them too. It proactively alerts security staff to an intruder's (person or vehicle) presence and automatically tracks their movements in real-time. The system can also track and monitor multiple intruders at the same time. Providing detection up to 800m radius, the system can be coupled with any Ganz AllView CCTV camera to detect, track and outsmart intruders in all weather or lighting conditions. Typical applications include ports, refineries, power stations and commercial operations with large area perimeters.

A Radar Vision system coupled with a C-AllView dual optical/thermal or Night Vision camera can observe people, animals and vehicles without the need for artificial lighting. Radar Vision can also be coupled with the Ganz Thermal Vision system, combining radar detection with thermal imaging technology and the optical imaging advantage of the C-AllView camera - including its 36x optical zoom lens, full 360º rotation and tilting head to eliminate blind spots. Thermal imaging also allows the camera to spot intruders in darkness, as well as adverse weather conditions including fog, mist, rain and snow, for true 24/7 detection.

A dedicated website, ganzradarvision.com, explains these advantages using handy illustrated case-study examples of the system in action.
