Challenges
Compared to other industries, banks handle a large amount of cash and financial transactions, making surveillance systems the prime choice to tackle against theft and crime, both inside and outside the premises, in order to safeguard customers, employees, and assets of the bank. With the most advanced H.264 ACE (Advanced Code Efficiency) technology, DS-7004HI-S Network DVR can provide high-quality video with a resolution up to 4CIF in real-time, so that the staff in the surveillance centre can get access to the security status immediately. Furthermore, by using text overlay technology, the product is able to acquire transaction details including ATM ID, card number, transaction date and time, and to overlay the information onto video footage with user-defined fonts, colour and position. The video can be retrieved according to the transaction data and used as evidence of crime.
