Andy Chrichton awarded Diploma in ironmongery specification by Guild of Architectural Ironmongers

Andy Crichton, Scottish Area Manager for SALTO Systems has recently been awarded a diploma in ironmongery specification by the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers.

Andy combined study for this highly regarded three year diploma course with a busy full time career managing SALTO’s access control operations in Scotland, developing new business, maintaining existing customers as well as establishing and working with both new and existing partners.

The Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI) is the United Kingdom's only trade body dedicated to promoting the interests of the whole architectural ironmongery industry, including architectural ironmongers as well as manufacturers and wholesalers of architectural ironmongery products.

Its education syllabus is the only recognised programme in the UK that leads to a qualification in ironmongery specification. After successfully completing the three levels, and being awarded Dip Gai status, each student is competent to discuss the ironmongery requirements for any project with all types of professional clients and customers.
