SALTO Systems will be showcasing several new access control products and technologies at INTERSEC 2010
SALTO Systems will be showcasing several new access control products and its exciting new advanced state-of-the-art wireless access control technology at INTERSEC 2010.

A major jump forward in battery operated access control technology, the new wireless electronic lock system provides a real time access control solution without the need for wiring.

This new wireless access control system combines the efficiency of both on-line and off-line applications in a single system and provides real-time communication with state-of-the-art SALTO stand alone battery powered escutcheons that simplify security management and provide unrivalled levels of access control flexibility.

Any number of doors can be equipped with the new wireless system at much lower cost than a conventional wired access control solution and the system is so efficient that battery power consumption is close to that of SALTO's standard battery powered electronic escutcheons.

The system uses AES128 bits encrypted radio frequency communication based on IEEE 802.15.4 at 2,4Ghz to transfer information from escutcheons to the PC through strategically located gateways and repeaters. These then act as antennas collecting and sending information from the PC to the stand alone wireless locks. One gateway can manage several repeaters and electronic escutcheons, minimising infrastructure costs and maximising flexibility.

Marc Handels, Vice President of Marketing at SALTO Systems says: "INTERSEC provides us with an excellent forum to interact face to face with both new and existing customers. We will be using the event to showcase a host of new products and technologies to the market. We will be focusing on what makes the SALTO access control solution different from other manufacturers and why consultants, specifiers, installers and end-users get more than just a product from SALTO."
