Security Essen once again proved to be the most important security exhibition in Europe. With over 40,000 visitors from 110 countries the show boasted impressive numbers. This was reflected at the SALTO booth which unveiled exciting new product and technology innovations, generating a record of number of enquiries and sales leads from present and future customers.
Visitors at the booth were also more international than ever before. For that reason the German team headed by Business Managers Marc Handels and Axel Schmidt as well as Sales Manager Marc Rentrop were supported by the Business Managers of Eastern Europe (Agnieszka Filipowicz), the Netherlands (Remco Leeger), Denmark (Jesper Buch) and even Australia (Scott Fraser). Axel Schmidt also welcomed the management of the Swiss SALTO team and the Austrian distributor ESSECCA.
Headlining at the SALTO booth was the product line of the all new access control platform XS4 2.0. The short plate escutcheon XS4 Mini, which is available from the end of October, the long plate escutcheon XS4 One, the XS4 Wall Reader, and the XS4 Controller CU4000, which will be available from the beginning of 2015, all premiered in Essen. Other innovations were mSVN, the NFC based virtual network for mobile applications, as well as the Clay Wall Reader, which was presented in a complete installation of the cloud-based access solution Clay at the show.
