L to R: Bill Bozeman, Frank DeFina and Jeff Baxter at the PSA-TEC International Security Conference

Samsung Techwin America, a global supplier of video surveillance products combining superior performance and value, continued to spread word of its new Vision 2010 product roll-out at the PSA-TEC Annual Conference. In addition to announcing a strategic partnership with PSA Security Network, Frank DeFina, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Samsung Techwin America, and Bill Bozeman, CEO of PSA, presented PSA-TEC's keynote speaker Jeff "Skunk" Baxter with a Paul Reed Smith (PRS) PRS McCarty Model guitar as a token of Samsung's appreciation. After the presentation, Mr. DeFina, an avid guitarist, joined industry peers for an impromptu jam session at a local nightclub.

Mr. Baxter, who chairs the Congressional Advisory Board on Missile Defence, is perhaps best known for his accolades as the Grammy-winning guitarist with Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers.

"As a proud member and corporate sponsor of the PSA Security Network and a guitarist, it was an honour to meet Jeff Baxter," said Mr. DeFina. "His experience with data-compression algorithms as a musician and sound engineer is directly related to his expertise in missile defence systems. It's a confluence of technical disciplines that is truly unique."
