Diebold, Incorporated has signed on as the top-level "Hall of Fame" sponsor of next month's Security Industry Association (SIA) Customer Appreciation Reception.
The reception is an annual networking event held by SIA at ISC West in Las Vegas. This year's gathering is scheduled for March 23 at ESPN Zone.
Diebold is a long-time member of SIA, and V. John Stroia, the company's vice president for government security and monitoring solutions, serves as vice-chairman of the SIA Board of Directors.
"We are pleased to sponsor an event that brings security product manufacturers, dealers, integrators and buyers together for a strong networking opportunity," Stroia said. "We look forward to continuing our support of SIA's overall mission to strengthen businesses' representation in the industry."
SIA officials thanked Diebold for sponsoring the reception and noted that the company has been active for many years in supporting SIA and the security industry.
"This is just the latest example of Diebold's commitment to advancing the interests of the security industry," SIA CEO Richard Chace said. "The company's support and John's great work on the Board has helped to make SIA a better organisation and has produced positive results for the entire sector."
