Bosch installs systems for video surveillance, intrusion detection, perimeter protection, as well as for access control.

The National Bank of Hungary awarded the contract for the installation and operation of the security systems for the new Logistics Centre to Robert Bosch Kft. Building Security Branch.  Bosch had previously designed the mechanic and electronic security systems of the Logistics Centre; conclusion of the contract was reached after completion of phase I.

"All functions related to money transport and money manufacturing will be performed by the new Logistics Centre to be completed in 2007: organizational units engaged in the business of money processing and transport will be located in this establishment, the Hungarian euro coins will be produced here, the mirror server of the IT centre of the National Bank of Hungary will operate here, too" - said Mr. Szilárd Király, Managing Director of NBH.

The scope of contract of Robert Bosch Kft. Building Security will include the installation of the video surveillance system, the intrusion detection system, the perimeter security system, as well as the access control system.  Construction work of the centre will start in summer 2005; the installation of the security systems will start after completion of construction.

With the electronic systems, Bosch provides the frame for the integration of the safety concept in the logistics centre.  The extreme security requirements due to the specific character of the object impose an above average capability of the systems.  In the design of the security systems, when it came to technical details as well as functional features, Bosch focused on the future upgrading and extendibility potential of the systems to assure the value of the investment.
