9 Jan 2013 Huper Laboratories ,a leading developer of intelligent video surveillance system, and a technology innovator on 2D & 3D video analytics, video/audio codecs and streaming technologies, proudly announces its 16CH full HD real-time HD-SDI surveillance system utilising the 3rd generation Intel® Core™ processor codenamed Ivy Bridge to pioneer delivering 16CH 1080p 480FPS display and 320FPS recording without latency. Followed with huperVision4CH HD-SDI DVR card, huperLab’s newly released 8CH HD-SDI DVR card allows easy configuration and a wide variety of motherboard selection to build a 16CH (or above) HD-SDI DVR system.

With the video raw data capture technology, this huperVision HD-SDI DVR provides 1080p zero loss image quality, and zero latency while viewing live video. Its flexible recording setting allows each camera to be individually recorded at different frame rates and video resolutions for various scenario usages. huperVision further supports ePTZ control with PIP (picture-in-picture) preview that users can easily engage digital pan/tilt/zoom on 1080p video. 2D & 3D video analytics are also available in this system for intelligent detection.

The release of huperLab’s 8CH HD-SDI cards makes it easy to build a 16CH (or more) HD-SDI system by stacking only two HD-SDI cards in one system. Therefore, installers don’t need to worry about motherboard selections since most motherboards in the market have been equipped with at least two PCIe slots. The hardware cost and installation efforts will be reduced dramatically. By stacking additional analog D1 capture cards or NVR license keys, this system can further become a HD Tribrid DVR, which brings multiple video formats into one single interface with free combination of HD-SDI, analog and network cameras.
