The ANPR CCTV camera has a high-definition resolution of 1280 x 960 for deployment on wide lanes, toll plazas
CitySync, the leading international manufacturer of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) has launched the latest version of the JetCam Fox-i Intelligent Infra Red ANPR camera. The camera is designed for use in situations where it is necessary to process the ANPR images at the camera location to a high level of accuracy.

The JetCam Fox-i has an integral 1GHz processor running Embedded Windows™ with on-board SDRAM and is available with up to 32GB of flash memory.

The ANPR camera has a high-definition resolution of 1280 x 960 for deployment on wide lanes, toll plazas or site entrances. An optional day/night colour overview camera is available to capture not only the plate details but also a colour contextual image of the event.

The unit can transmit ANPR reads using an Ethernet connection - or wirelessly via its 3G modem.

Lawson Noble, CitySync's CTO said: "Unlike other popular intelligent ANPR cameras, the Fox-i runs the Jet ANPR engine at speed and can easily achieve very high recognition rates to NAAS standard. This means that it can be deployed not only in ITS scenarios, but where extreme accuracy is also required."
