The failure to maintain specific conditions such as temperature and humidity in a building can be detrimental to many industries; the damage caused is the biggest cause of insurance claims in the UK each year.

Dedicated to delivering complete multi-brand security solutions, ADI-GARDINER (UK) has announced it is to become a distributor of the EnviroAlert critical environment monitoring products manufactured by Winland Electronics, Inc., a long-term supplier to ADI in the USA.  EnviroAlert monitors provide the flexibility to simultaneously monitor temperature, humidity and the presence of water in up to four critical environments using remote sensor probes.

Invaluable to businesses that use dry goods storage, chilled food management, computer server rooms and laboratory fridges, the EnviroAlert's sensors attach to any intruder alarm and monitor critical environments.  If a change to the environment is detected, for example a drop in temperature, the EnviroAlert sensor will alert the existing alarm system and send a message to either a central monitoring system or a designated pager.

Both sensor guides are user friendly and can be added to existing alarm systems.  They feature an eight alarm memory, auxiliary output relay and a defrost time delay of up to 120 minutes.  The EA400 also features a tamper-proof locking system.

Paul Machacek, Sales Manager at Winland Electronics, welcomes the opportunity to work with ADI-GARDINER.  "This latest distribution agreement with ADI-GARDINER in the UK allows us to bring the unique properties of the EnviroAlert monitors to a much broader market.  We have a long-standing and well established working relationship with ADI in the United States and look forward to building on this successful relationship."
