Honeywell will also display its latest MAXPRO® Cloud solution

Honeywell recently announced its participation at IFSEC South Africa 2012 from 19th – 21st June at Hall 2 - Stand A05 in the Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand, Johannesburg. Visitors to the stand will be able to see first-hand the latest products and solutions from Honeywell, and the opportunities and benefits that they can bring to their business.

Honeywell’s latest MAXPRO® Cloud solution is one of the key solutions the company will spotlight at the event. Tapping into the growing popularity and adoption of cloud services, the offering is a hosted service that allows organisations to access their video surveillance wherever there is an internet connection. It was named Best Commercial and Monitoring Solution by the Security Industry Association (SIA) on the opening day of ISC West, a US security event that took place in April 2012.

Combining access control, digital video and intrusion into one powerful system, Honeywell will also demonstrate how its WIN-PAK® software improves scalability, capability and control. In addition to WIN-PAK supporting the Honeywell Fusion, HRDP and Rapid Eye™ hybrid digital video recorders, it also offers a new interface that supports the Honeywell MAXPRO® NVR XE/SE network video recorders for easy access to stored and live video events and alarms. Integration allows video to be linked to both access control and Galaxy intrusion events and alarms. Video clips can easily be recalled through the software, based on time or event. With integration, users can have complete camera control, including pan, tilt and zoom, and can verify live users with stored images using the video verification option.

Finally Rapid Eye™ Hybrid Digital Video Recorder, a flexible, scalable solution for analogue to IP migration, will also be showcased at this year’s event. Reliable access remotely, locally and at limited bandwidth, makes it an ideal solution for customers at all stages of their journey from analogue to IP, with 16 channels capable of supporting images from analogue and IP surveillance cameras. Additional IP cameras can be installed without the need for extra licences and Rapid Eye Hybrid HD will automatically identify their dynamic address on a network.

In addition to the solutions on display, on Wednesday 20th June at 12.30, Honeywell’s Regional Sales Manager Adrian Willis will present Honeywell’s integrated approach to security for large and small enterprises. The session will take place in the Interactive Seminar Theatre. Adrian comments: “IFSEC South Africa is always a welcome opportunity for the company to share its latest innovation with installers and end users in this important security market. The enduring importance of integration, combined with the growing potential of cloud and mobility as vehicles for service delivery will be key focuses at this year’s show.”
