Honeywell today announced the appointment of Joseph Janick as sales director for Honeywell Systems Group in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).  Based in the Netherlands, Mr. Janick is responsible for sales of all Honeywell Access and Video products and systems, working closely with sales and marketing teams across EMEA to develop strategy and product positioning.

Mr. Janick relocated from North America to the Netherlands earlier this year and officially commenced his role in April. He is responsible for a 30-strong sales team across EMEA for Honeywell Systems Group.  Mr. Janick comments: “The past six months have been a huge learning curve for me - in understanding each of the markets.  Following recent changes in the organisation, we are now better positioned to provide first class sales and technical support for Honeywell’s Access and Video product ranges. Our business is performing well.  We have recently launched three new products in the last couple of months and plan to launch many more in 2006.  I expect to see growth in integrated systems, as Honeywell Security can deliver fully integrated systems through the Intruder, Access and Video product lines that will give our dealers a distinct advantage.”

Mr. Janick’s career spans over 15 years in the security industry, previously as sales director with Honeywell Access Systems in North America.

Honeywell International is a $26 billion diversified technology and manufacturing leader, serving customers worldwide with aerospace products and services; control technologies for buildings, homes and industry; automotive products; turbochargers; and specialty materials.  Based in Morris Township, N.J., Honeywell’s shares are traded on the New York, London, Chicago and Pacific Stock Exchanges.  It is one of the 30 stocks that make up the Dow Jones Industrial Average and is also a component of the Standard & Poor's 500 Index.
