ACTi's ACM-3401 fixed dome IP cameras have been installed in various locations on Edgewater Court

The name Edgewater Court is a perfect description for its first urban apartments and townhouse complex. Edgewater Court is made up of 75 apartments and 25 townhouses and is set on the banks of the beautiful and historic Clearwater River in downtown Fort McMurray. To help ensure the security of the residents at Edgewater Court, Convert Controls Security Systems has selected ACTi products and solutions to create a cost-effective and reliable surveillance system.

Approximately 64 of ACTi's ACM-3401 have been installed in various locations on Edgewater Court. This cost-effective 1.3 Megapixel fixed dome IP camera offers excellent video with high resolution and works with 2.4mm and 4.2mm Megapixel board lens. The videos are streamed to ACTi's free NVR Enterprise software on a PC for easy live viewing, playback and user management. There is also an e-Map feature available for inserting camera icons and small live preview windows onto an imported floor plan of the Edgewater Court to conveniently illustrate the live scene at each camera location. User of the e-Map can instantly relate each video to the actual camera location.

"I have been using ACTi products for almost a year, and have had nothing but a fantastic result. From the initial setup to in-depth settings, this product has been amazing. Tech support & customer service is great as well. ACTi makes a great product that is hands down one of the top IP based camera solutions on the market," says Ken Snyder, owner and operator of Covert Controls Security Systems.
