ioimage, the pioneer of intelligent video appliances designed for simplicity, announced today that it has opened an office in Beijing to support growing demand of its products and to better support partners and end users in China.  

The Chinese video surveillance sector is predicted to exceed $3 billion by 2012, according to IMS Research. ioimage partners with Tung Po, Bellsent and Honeywell with several installations in China both in the high end and mid range markets, including prisons, coal mines, police stations, a tobacco warehouse and military bases. ioimage is currently looking to strengthen and expand its distribution networks and to hire additional people to staff its Beijing office.
