The ioibox appliances deployed are intelligent video edge and centralised devices
ioimage, the pioneer of intelligent video appliances designed for simplicity recently announced that its intelligent video appliances have been implemented at several key sites in South Korea.

Most recently, ioimage ioibox appliances were installed at Korea Electric Power Cooperation (KEPCO), a government-invested electric utility facility located in Uijeongbu (Kaesong) and Yangju.  ioimage also protects the Daesan Seaport, situated on the coast of the Yellow Sea.  In addition, a multiple-channel system has been implemented at KGM Daewoo's Bupyeng lab.  All three premises upgraded their existing CCTV security systems with video analytics to automate surveillance and provide immediate notification and instant visual verification.

The ioibox appliances deployed are intelligent video edge and centralised devices with built-in self-sustained video analytics.  The units plug inline and upgrade common CCTV security cameras (B/W, color, thermal, and infrared) with powerful indoor and outdoor automated detection and autonomous tracking of intruders, suspicious baggage, stopped vehicles, removed items and more.  Designed for simplicity, ioibox appliances are installed and configured within minutes via an HTML web browser.

"ioimage's intelligent video devices deliver real value to industrial facilities by providing reliable cost-effective security solutions that are easy to operate" said Zeev Farkash, ioimage VP Sales & Customer Services.  "These installations verify ioimage's approach to video analytics, providing easy to use advanced video analytics to both the mid-range market as well as to high end security sites."
