ADI keeps industry Up-to-Date on Legislation and Technology with new training days

, offering training for Access Control, CCTV and Fire, has announced details of its nationwide 2009 training programme for companies operating in the security industry.

The range of courses has been specifically developed to help companies learn new skills, train staff effectively, diversify into new markets and stay up-to-date with the latest legislative technological advances.

Access Control training will take place on dates throughout the year until November, and will include both basic and intermediate levels. The training will cover everything from audio and video entry systems, to biometrics and networked access control.

CCTV training modules are also planned including an introduction to CCTV and installation to provide participants with a foundation in the basics. There will also be an overview of CCTV site assessment illustrating the fundamentals of an efficient site survey, designed with project engineers and specifiers in mind.

ADI and the leading U.K. trade association in the fire protection industry, the Fire Industry Association (FIA), are offering training on fire detection design, advanced alarm design, installation and testing, fire alarm maintenance and fire risk assessment responsibility. Fire product training is also being offered, in association with leading manufacturers in the fire protection industry including Morley IAS Fire Systems, Rafiki Protection, C-TEC, Advanced Electronics Limited, Kentec, Apollo and Hyfire.
