The new robust mobile digital video recorders are designed specifically to meet the demanding requirements of the defence, rail and transportation markets and are able to operate effectively even in the most harsh and hostile of environments. Included in the new range is a network video recorder which can transmit encrypted live or recorded images over a wireless network connection.
"There are many different ways in which these purpose built recorders can assist defence and security forces in monitoring and reviewing their day-today activities. They can also play an important role in the training of new recruits and can provide what could be invaluable video evidence captured during reconnaissance missions," said Chris Williams, Director of Wavestore. "We are naturally delighted that Wavestore software is being entrusted to place a crucial role ensuring that these new video recorders perform to the best of their ability. This includes the option to simultaneously record and display high quality images from combinations of analogue, megapixel, HD, 360 degree and infra-red cameras."
Also on show on the Sascal Displays' stand will be the REVADER HD PTZ camera system. Part of the re-deployable REVADER Totem camera range, this highly impressive camera system is supplied with an integrated video recorder and optional alarm inputs and audio power amplifier. Built-in intelligence triggers the cameras to automatically pan to an area of activity and track any movement whilst recording high quality images.
With over 1,300 exhibitors, DSEi is the world's largest defence and security exhibition. An estimated 25,000 attendees will be able to view the latest equipment and systems from the world's defence and security industry, such as BAE Systems, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin and Finmeccanica.
