Panoramic PTZ is designed for monitoring open areas with extreme details

VIVOTEK is honoured to announce winning of "The Best Innovation Product Contest" with a self-developed technology - Panoramic PTZ at MIPS 2013. By outperformed other candidates, VIVOTEK was ranked 2nd place.

"The Best Innovation Product Contest" is the annual event held at MIPS, the international exhibition for security products and technology in Moscow. The contest is taken as one of the best platforms for demonstrating the latest and innovative technology achievements of security industry in Russia.

Panoramic PTZ, the innovative technique developed by the VIVOTEK R&D team, is designed for monitoring open areas with extreme details. This technology achieves surveillance synergy by combining a fisheye global view and speed dome camera. The VIVOTEK megapixel fisheye camera provides a 180° panoramic view or 360° surround view without blind spots, allowing users to simultaneously monitor an area overview from a fisheye model while providing the capability for detailed regional viewing from a speed dome. It is worth to note that VIVOTEK Panoramic PTZ, with further enhanced surveillance efficiency, saves on the overall cost of the surveillance system, effectively reducing the number of cameras, labour costs, power consumption, and maintenance expenses.

Steve Ma, VIVOTEK’s Executive Vice President, indicated: “I would like to thank the honourable judges for their recognition on behalf of the whole VIVOTEK team. Right after receiving the GIT Security Award 2013 earlier this year, it’s a great honour that our Panoramic PTZ was once again recognised by the international professionals at MIPS 2013. Our faith in developing innovative and world-class technology is undoubtedly further enhanced. Moreover, VIVOTEK will keep our commitment to the market and the industry, offering more high quality and high performance products in the following.”
