ASIS 4th Middle East Security Conference & Exhibition will take place between 17-19 February 2013

ASIS International, the world’s premier association for security professionals, has announced that the ASIS 4th Middle East Security Conference & Exhibition will take place under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.

The event will be held in Dubai, UAE on 17-19 February 2013 at the Intercontinental Dubai Festival City.

Speaking on the announcement, Eduard Emde, CPP, Chairman of the Board of ASIS International said: “ASIS International is honoured by the support of H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the UAE authorities of ASIS Middle East 2013 which has contributed significantly to the success of the event and constitutes a recognition of ASIS role in developing the security profession in the region.”

The ASIS 4th Middle East Security Conference & Exhibition will cover a wide range of security issues in 33 high-level educational sessions divided over 3 parallel tracks.

The conference will also feature:

  • 3 high-level keynote presentations
  • Dedicated sessions for Chief Security Officers (CSOs) and their deputies organised by the CSO Roundtable of ASIS International;
  • An enlarged exhibition featuring the latest in security technology and solutions;
  • Unrivalled networking opportunities at the President’s Reception, business lunches and networking breaks.

On 20 and 21 February ASIS has organised CPP (Certified Protection Professional) and PSP (Physical Security Professional) review courses. Both courses will be provided by certified security professionals and will offer the most insight into preparing for and successfully passing the comprehensive CPP and PSP Exams.

ASIS will be offering the opportunity to follow 4 in-depth post-conference workshops organised by training provider EuroMaTech. All courses will be taught by renowned experts in their field over the course of two full days on 20 and 21 February.
