WWP was created to raise awareness of the needs of injured service members

STANLEY Security, a leading provider of security products, services and integrated solutions, is proud to announce a new initiative, as part of its continued support of Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP), for the ASIS International 59th Annual Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS 2013), September 24-27 in Chicago, IL. As a division of Stanley Black & Decker, who earlier this year entered into a partnership with the nonprofit organisation, STANLEY Security hopes to help support the WWP vision of fostering the most successful, well-adjusted generation of veterans in this nation’s history by donating $1 to WWP for each visitor to the company’s booth #505 at ASIS 2013.

WWP was created to raise awareness of the needs of injured service members, help injured service members to aid and assist each other and to provide unique programs and services to meet the needs of this generation of injured service members. Through its partnership with WWP, STANLEY Security aims to honour the organisation’s mission to honour and empower Wounded Warriors.

At ASIS 2013, one of the largest and most comprehensive annual trade shows in the security industry, STANLEY Security has chosen to forego traditional trade show promotional giveaways (such as branded pens, lanyards, mouse-pads and refrigerator magnets) and, instead, will donate $1 to WWP for each ASIS 2013 identification badge scanned at the STANLEY Security exhibit. In addition, STANLEY will provide a QR code that attendees may scan if they wish to make their own donation to WWP. Any donation made through the QR code provided at the booth will be matched by STANLEY Security. As a subsidiary of Stanley Black & Decker, STANLEY Security will also participate in the company’s commitment to hiring at least one hundred veterans by 2014.
