There have been no price increases for any of Vicon's 260 or so CCTV products for 2010

Vicon's new price list has just been published and customers will be pleased to see that there have been no price increases for any of the company's 260 or so products for 2010 - the fourth year in a row that Vicon has maintained or reduced prices on its products.

"Vicon manufactures all the component parts of a video management system, so our real strength lies in working with customers to engineer complete video management solutions and then backing that up with peerless support," said Richard Allen-Miles, Vicon's Sales Director for the UK and Ireland.

"We know though that our installation partners are working in a highly competitive environment and that Vicon needs to make sure that alongside our support we hone our prices to deliver the very best value for money. We constantly look for ways to give our customers the competitive edge they need. Vicon's financial strength and stability helps us to do that in two ways; firstly it allows us to create competitive pricing packages for specific projects, and secondly it allows Vicon to invest heavily in R&D and develop products and systems which reduce our customers' costs. A perfect example of this is the recent introduction of our new Kollector Force and Strike hybrid & NVR recording platforms, which allow the cost of a Vicon system to be significantly reduced."
