Solution to enhance transit security and ensure safe travel environment

Verint Systems Inc., a leading provider of analytic software-based solutions for security and business intelligence, recently announced that France's Grenoble Transport Authority has deployed Verint's Networked Video solution across its network of trams to ensure a safe and secure travel environment for tourists and local residents.

Grenoble, located in the French Alps, is a major tourist centre and attracts visitors from across Europe and around the world each year.  The city's tramway, in operation since 1987, transports more than 100,000 people each day.  The deployment of Verint's Networked Video solution will enable transit personnel to monitor the safety and security of passengers as they travel through the city.  The solution was delivered in conjunction with Verint partner SLE.

"We are pleased to help the Transport Authority of Grenoble enhance security of its city-wide tram system infrastructure," said Dan Bodner, President and CEO of Verint Systems Inc.  "We have significant experience working with transit system operators around the world and are committed to delivering actionable intelligence solutions for this important market."
