Traka lockers are modular in construction and manufactured to meet specific customer requirements

Traka plc will be showcasing its extensive range of intelligent asset management lockers on stand no. 218. Ideal for controlling staff access to important and valuable portable equipment, these lockers are widely used by the UK emergency services to manage and audit the use of airwave radios, laptops, PDAs and similar shared resources.

Traka32 software manages locker access via PIN, magnetic card or biometric reader. The unique and easy-to-use software restricts access to authorised users only and allows vital information to be automatically recorded, including when a locker is opened and by whom. Furthermore, innovative RFID tagging registers when a piece of equipment is taken and returned, and by which user. A comprehensive audit of equipment usage is maintained to provide traceability, accountability and responsibility, which ultimately result in less damage, fewer losses and significantly reduced operating costs.

Traka lockers are modular in construction and manufactured to meet specific customer requirements. For instance, lockers can incorporate battery recharging facilities to ensure radios are always ready for the next user.

Traka staff will be available on the company's stand at BAPCO 2011 to offer assistance and advice on intelligent managed lockers and other proven products in the Traka range, such as its intelligent key management solutions.
