2011 Security Industry Association (SIA) Government Summit will look into the security industry's public policies

He served as chief of staff to Vice President Dan Quayle and to Reagan Administration Education Secretary William Bennett. He is the author of several books and serves on the board of trustees of the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, the leadership council of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, and the policy advisory board of the Ethics and Public Policy Centre.

Bill Press is a longtime Democratic Party insider who served as chair of the California Democratic Party in the mid-1990s and now hosts "The Bill Press Show," a nationally syndicated radio talk show. He has written five books, most recently Toxic Talk: How the Radical Right Has Poisoned America's Airwaves, and he writes columns for Tribune Media Services syndicate. He is a former co-host of CNN's "Crossfire" and MSNBC's "Buchanan and Press."

Kristol and Press will engage in a lively debate about policy and politics, including the impact of the 2010 mid-term elections and the prospects for the 2012 presidential campaign.

The SIA Government Summit is the security industry's premier public policy conference. This year's event on June 21-22 in Washington, D.C., will offer timely insights from public and private sector experts on the most pressing issues in the industry - such as biometrics, standards and infrastructure protection - and the role of the federal government in addressing them.
