Teletec Connect commitment hepled 20 representatives to participate in the REHD training programe

Teletec Connect has been accredited as an approved distributor for the SANYO Full HD camera range following the company’s successful participation in the SANYO REHD (Realising Education in High Definition) professional level training programme. Teletec Connect is a leading distributor of professional electronic security products in Scandinavia with their headquarters inStockholm,Sweden, and with offices inDenmark,Finlandand Norway. Teletec Connect’s team of 60 people provide pre and post sales support for over 2000 installers of electronic security throughoutScandinavia.

The REHD training course has been devised by SANYO to provide distributors, installers, system integrators and consultants with a complete understanding of how to obtain maximum benefit from the technology build into SANYO’s Full HD cameras. David Hammond, SANYO’s European Sales Manager said: “We believe that if our business partners take on board the required level of sales and technical training, they will be able to meet, if not exceed, their customers’ expectations of what a Full HD camera can do for them.

David Hammond praised the Teletec Connects’ commitment which saw 20 representatives from commercial and technical teams participating in the training programme which was conducted at the company’s Stockholmoffices at the end of April  “I am delighted that a highly successful company such as Teletec Connect had been prepared to commit so wholeheartedly to a training programme which has resulted in it achieving professional level accreditation.

Teletec Connect will be joined later this year by other European distributors seeking to attain professional Level accreditation status with further  training programme being conducted in Barcelona, London, Munich and Paris. As part of the professional level training programme, participants receive a demonstration kit to take away with them which includes a VCC-HD2300P Full HD day/night camera, 6mm lens, tripod Ethernet switch and cables.

David Hammond and his colleagues at SANYO are determined that the pace at which Full HD camera technology is utilised by end-users is not affected by the lack of training by all who are involved in the sales channel, i.e. installers, distributors and third party influencers such as consultants. “In the past, when a new technology has been launched with much fanfare, such as Video over IP, there has been a general reluctance to recommend or install products incorporating the new technology when the implications of doing so have not been fully understood.”said David, “We are endeavoring to ensure that this does not happen with full HD camera technology by providing high level training to all those involved as well as providing demonstration equipment which is easy to set up and use.
