AMG Real-time CCTV Transmission System will cover new residential buildings at Downtown Burj Dubai.

AMG Systems announces that it has been contracted by Specialised & Interactive Systems L.L.C. (SIS) in the UAE to supply its innovative fibre optic transmission system, Guardian-Lite 4600, for the security & surveillance system of the new residential area at Downtown Burj Dubai.

Initially, AMG will supply CCTV transmission systems for 13 new buildings and a further 13 buildings being built later this year.  The new residential buildings form part of the Old Town's total offering of 1,560 residential units spread over six quarters - Yansoon, Zaafaran, Reehan, Zanzebeel, Kamoon and Miska - all of them with architectural elements inspired from Arabian tradition.

The Old Town residences are some of the most sought after homes in the Downtown Burj Dubai development because of their unique architecture and pedestrian-friendly family environment.  They are located on and along the Burj Dubai Boulevard and assure residents proximity to an array of leisure and entertainment options.  They also offer easy access to the tramway and the Burj Dubai Metro station.  The homes are part of a vibrant development that includes Burj Dubai, billed to be the tallest tower in the world, and The Dubai Mall, the world's largest shopping destination.

Founder and MD of AMG Systems Alan Hayes says, "AMG is deeply committed to the Middle East market and I am delighted that we have been chosen to supply the CCTV transmission system for this prestigious project in Dubai.  This is an important project for AMG to win and another testament to the increasing demand for our technology in the Middle East."

SIS, a specialist system integrator based in Dubai, is the contractor responsible for the installation of the security & surveillance system.  Bruce Haigh representing SIS says, "We chose AMG Systems for this project because their technology is exactly what we need for the project.  We have also been very pleased with the support and fast turnaround from AMG Systems in connection with the manufacturing and delivery."

AMG Systems is supplying its new Guardian Lite 4600 Series.  The project calls for 8 channel multiplexers for the transmission of 88 camera signals in phase I, and 104 cameras for phase II, with associated data back to the control room.

Downtown Burj Dubai is an Emaar Properties flagship project and when completed will be a mixed-use 500-acre community combining commercial, residential, hotel, entertainment, shopping and leisure outlets in open green spaces dotted with lakes and other water features.
