 American Fibertek, Inc. to showcase network system solutions at ASIS 2008
American Fibertek, Inc. (AFI), the security industry's leading independent supplier of transmission solutions for security applications, is demonstrating its latest video network and fiber transmission solutions that deliver enhanced functionality and cost-efficiency here at ASIS 2008.  The highlight of AFI's exhibit is the company's recently introduced V'nes Video Network Enterprise Solution - a fully integrated video surveillance network transmission solution that provides a seamless and fully scalable ‘Open Path' for IP and analogue systems integration.  In addition, AFI announced the official launch of the company's new dynamic and full featured website.

New enhancements to the core line of V'nes systems components includes Commander Series IP Communications Switches with additional PoE and analytics functionality, the new Net I/O Network Video Recorder Interface with real-world alarm functionality, and enhancements to Pilot Series Video and Network Management Software.

AFI is also showcasing several new point-to-point fiber transmission solutions here at ASIS 2008 including: a selection of video transceivers with features that include low cost multimode 8-bit digital video transmission, bi-directional communications and multi-channel capacity.  The new products reaffirm American Fibertek's commitment to legacy systems and its core product technologies.

AFI has also officially launched a new dynamic, feature packed website that includes a 30 day trial of the V'nes Pilot Networked System Management Solution for up to eight cameras.  Additional features include: a system configuration calculator; detailed product specification sheets, photographs and systems illustration; detailed A&E specifications; comprehensive FAQs; software updates; and participation in AFI's open path partner network.
