The afi Net I/O N111 and N664 products are ideal for transmitting, real world alarm contacts and auxiliary outputs
American Fibertek Inc. (afi) has posted three new product videos from their Net I/O Ethernet Network Communication series to the YouTube social media site, available here or afi's home page. The videos include the Net I/O N-TAH, Net I/O N111 and Net I/O N664 products and feature detailed and informative material in an easy to follow style. “Our new YouTube videos both inform and educate the viewer to provide an improved understanding of network video surveillance and security system transmission technology,” said Jack Fernandes, President and CEO of afi. “It’s a great tool to help customers select a product solution to address challenges in a networked environment.”

The Net I/O N111 and N664 products are ideal for transmitting, real world alarm contacts, auxiliary outputs and Serial Data across networks. With an easy-to-use web interface, alarm contacts generated at one location can trigger auxiliary outputs anywhere on the network. The devices feature four user programmable data ports for RS 232 or RS 485 and can carry information from remotely located cash registers, Point of Sale (PoS), access control and alarm panels.

The Net I/O N-TAH environmental monitoring sensor remotely monitors environmental conditions and reports when values exceed user programmed warning and alarm levels. Warnings and alarms may be reported via email, tunneled alarm relays or to Pilot Software for centralised management. afi’s Pilot Software provides a complete software solution for monitoring, logging, reporting, recording and video integration
