The Pyronix Enforcer alarm system was donated to Eric Rivers, who suffers with Motor Neurone Disease

The superior and unique features of the Pyronix Enforcer Wireless alarm system have catapulted it into the spotlight with an appearance on BBC’s DIY SOS. The Enforcer alarm system was kindly donated to Eric Rivers, who suffers with Motor Neurone Disease, by Dave Robertson the Managing Director of NSI Gold Company Fullstop Fire and Security. The install of the Enforcer was part of the renovations that the DIY SOS team undertook on Mr Rivers’ home. The DIY SOS team were called in to make changes to his house so that he and his family might be able to live a more comfortable life. Dave was quoted as saying: “I will remember Eric's words for a very long time ‘I was falling and all of you have joined hands and caught me’

The time constraints involved with an undertaking such as that posed by the DIY SOS team meant that a quick install of the system was an important factor; the Enforcer was therefore the obvious choice. The system being wireless ensured that the installation was completed in a fraction of the time that it would take for a wired system. Furthermore the Signal Strength Indicator (SSI) feature which is present on all Enforcer wireless devices allowed for the correct positioning of all devices further saving time on the install. The inclusion of a portable emergency button was something which Eric and his family were keen to have. With the Enforcer being able to support 19 programmable automation outputs, Eric was able to have this feature programmed into his Enforcer system using the keyfob that came with the Enforcer kit.

The two way wireless technology that Pyronix use in their Enforcer system provides Eric with the confidence that he will be protected throughout a system set, something not available on most other wireless systems on the market. The 24 hour link with the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) also allows Eric to sleep easy at night knowing that should an alarm be triggered, a quick and appropriate response will not be far behind.

Another great feature of the Enforcer, which Fullstop Fire and Security have taken advantage of, is that it comes completely unbranded. This feature gives the opportunity for installers to have their very own Enforcer system. Everything from the panel to the external sounder and even the detectors would show the installers brand, allowing them to have brand consistency throughout their system. In austere times, this also provides the installer with the peace of mind and confidence that the end user cannot look up and compare prices as the Enforcer product is their own.

Eric was very appreciative of everyone at the BBC and Fullstop Fire and Security who were involved with the DIY SOS programme.
