Panasonic's Toughbook helps in mission critical situations where IT failure isn't an option and quick results are necessary

Counter Terror Expo 2011 will play host to Panasonic Computer Products Europe and the latest range of Toughbook mobile computing solutions. In its 15th year of market leading operation, Toughbook is as dedicated as it was on day one in providing need-specific, customised solutions that meet the mission critical needs of operatives working in situations where IT failure simply isn't an option.

The fully ruggedised, MIL STD and IP rated Toughbook range offers counter-terror personnel unsurpassed durability and reliability with a power duration of up to 11.5 hours and with hot-swappable batteries further extending use during critical operation. The CF-31, CF-19 and CF-U1 UMPC, are all built with IP65 rated water and dust resistance; providing the ability to withstand heavy impact, vibrations and temperature fluctuations without negotiation.

CF-31 delivers desktop-performance computing power through Intel Core i3 or i5 processor technology

The magnesium reinforced, market leading Toughbook CF-19 is one of the world's first devices to use the new Intel ultra thin mobile platform utilising the Intel Core i5 processor. The 4th generation model of this prestigious convertible tablet notebook computer, boasts increased computing power, larger wireless network range, increased screen visibility in high glare conditions and higher ruggedised standards than previous models. To transform the laptop into tablet mode, the user simply horizontally twists the 10.4" TFT colour display 180 and folds it back over the keyboard.

The flagship model CF-31 delivers desktop-performance computing power through Intel Core i3 or i5 processor technology in the Performance and Standard models. The devices are designed to take advantage of Intel Turbo Boost Technology and Intel Multi-Threading to maximise the performance of the CPU. It also includes switchable graphics capability, allowing users to switch between the enhanced graphics performance of the dedicated ATI Mobility Radeon high-end HD 5650 graphic chip, with optional 4GB dedicated RAM; and the internal Intel HD graphics, to save power when on the move.

Integrating robust features like full QWERTY keypad and 5.6" LCD touchscreen with Intel's smallest and lowest power consuming processor, Intel Atom Z530 1.6 GHz, the CF-U1 UMPC is the ultimate, full function hand-held PC. Utilising Panasonic Transflective Plus technology to radically improve the reflection of sunlight from the display surface, the Mark II CF-U1 is improved for various conditions. Other models included on-stand will be; CF-52 semi-rugged Toughbook, CF-H1 Field tablet solution and CF-C1 business-rugged convertible tablet.
