Panasonic Security Systems, a division of Panasonic System Solutions Company (PSSA), has announced the enrollment of American Fibertek Inc (AFI) in their Panasonic Solution Developer Network (PSDN) Program.
According to Michael Maddox, System Sales Engineer and PSDN Program Manager for Panasonic Security Systems, the PSDN Program is designed to offer AFI and other Panasonic partners the resources of development tools and technical information for the development of inter-operable solutions.
"The increasing complexity of convergence is putting all facets of the security industry to the test in providing comprehensive, high quality integrated solutions," said Mr. Maddox. "We are pleased to have AFI join our PSDN Program and we believe their V'nes Network Transmission Solution, together with our i-Pro cameras redefine the standard for IP video surveillance and network integration."
Through its Open Infrastructure Strategic Initiative and the PSDN Program, Panasonic is helping to provide end users with security technology hardware and software solutions that work more seamlessly together.
"Panasonic has demonstrated a visionary commitment through their PSDN Program which will enable AFI to deliver the industry's first and only integrated and standardized network transmission solution combined with the industry's leading line of IP and analog video surveillance cameras," said Neil Heller, Director of New Business Development, American Fibertek. "Together, we can deliver best in class solutions to the security marketplace."
AFI will be demonstrating their V'nes Network Transmission Solution using the Panasonic i-Pro cameras at ISC West.
