Siqura’s new marine dome cameras bring latency free and full high quality images to harsh offshore and onshore environments.

Siqura, a global supplier of advanced video surveillance solutions, today announced the availability of two PTZ dome cameras for harsh marine environments. The Marine dome camera (HSD870H3 MDC) is designed for safe areas, while the ExPLORE Marine dome camera (HSD870H3EXP MDC) is integrated in an explosion-protected housing for use in hazardous areas (Zone 1). These cameras give operators a real-time overview of mission-critical operations even in the most extreme conditions.

No latency

Having the ability to monitor operations without interruption is vitally important in the marine, oil and gas industry. The HSD870H3 MDC and HSD870H3EXP MDC provide a unique hybrid HD-SDI and IP output with full-HD 1080p video quality at 60 frames per second. HD-SDI for smooth latency free images and IP multi-streaming in different qualities H.264 or MJPEG for distribution to control rooms and mobile devices while providing a high quality steam for process evaluation recordings.

High-speed

The outstanding image quality of these cameras is matched by their mechanical agility. 360° continuous rotation means they are able to cover a wide surveillance area without blind spots, and their precision 400°-per-second pan/tilt drive offers almost instant preset positioning. With 256 presets and 8 programmable cruises, nothing will escape your attention.

Uncomplicated clarity

“Our new marine dome cameras are a great example of the uncomplicated clarity we always aim for,” says Roger Decker, Managing Director at Siqura. “By listening closely to industry experts we are able to develop solutions that let our users see more detail while allowing them to maintain perfect control of the process being observed. That way, we help them increase safety and continuity and reduce costs.”
