TKH Security Solutions will demonstrate a total traffic management system at InterTraffic 2012

TKH Security Solutions announced its intention to participate in the InterTraffic 2012 trade show in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from March 27th through the 30th (booth EL 46). TKH Security Solutions will show its complete and integrated traffic solutions, including its recently released traffic camera, the BC620WDR. This network camera is specifically designed to perform well in outdoor and variable lighting conditions and can connect directly to Cat 5, fiber optic, or coax cabling. It is also embedded with proven traffic management algorithms for detecting incidents locally. This single unit offers traffic authorities everything they need to install an intelligent IP system anywhere.

An end-to-end traffic management solution

TKH Security Solutions will demonstrate a total traffic management system at its booth (booth EL 46). The new Siqura BC620WDR as well as the award-winning Siqura TrafficServer will be configured to DIVA, an IP-based video management system (VMS) equipped with FLUX, a traffic management tool from AID expert Traficon.

Through DIVA and FLUX, users can draw up the incidents that the BC620WDRs and TrafficServers need to monitor. Incidents might include anything from pedestrians, stopped vehicles, wrong-way drivers, and lost cargo to queuing, speed drops, and even the presence of smoke. The traffic management software also allows users to specify scenarios that might occur during traffic monitoring, such as various maintenance projects or day and night lighting parameters. Armed with these scenarios, DIVA and FLUX can discern between actual events and harmless occurrences.

Solutions for extreme conditions

Pressurised versions of the Siqura PTZ analog and IP cameras are now available. The Siqura pressurised cameras’ airtight protection ensures quality video in the most corrosive environs, such as along motorways, where fine dust can undermine camera availability.

Intelligence at the edge

TKH Security Solutions recently released the BC620WDR, the first Siqura IP camera based on an advanced new camera platform that puts entire video analytics systems for automatic incident detection (AID) and traffic data collection (TDC) in stand-alone devices at the edge of the network. Since its image sensor uses an adjustable shutter speed for each pixel, the Siqura BC620WDR provides superior low-light performance as well as wide dynamic range (WDR). With a built-in SFP option, the BC620WDR can connect directly to and stream Ethernet signals over fiber optic, coax, or Cat 5 cabling.

Transmitting over any medium

To accommodate any streaming situation, from short segments to vast distances, and to resourcefully take advantage of the existing network infrastructure, Siqura IP solutions are capable of streaming Ethernet signals over fiber optic, coax, or Cat 5 cabling.
