The Upperpoint Group has acquired the business of Aasset Security Poland from its owner Mariusz Wojtas, who will continue to run the business under the Norbain umbrella.

The company will be named Norbain Polska and aims to provide the Polish marketplace with the very best levels of service and technical support for which Norbain is renown.

Commenting on the deal, Alun John, CEO of Upperpoint Holdings Limited said, "Mariusz has created a number of successful ventures in the CCTV marketplace and I am pleased he is able to join us.  He will now be able to tap into the Norbain business, which will provide an unparalleled opportunity for Polish installers to benefit from the purchasing power, service and support that Norbain can provide."

Mariusz Wojtas said, "I have always admired Norbain.  I first met the company 16 years ago at the beginning of my career in CCTV and have observed Norbain's dynamic development.  For many years Norbain has been the model professional distribution company, especially for the service offered to its customers.  I am sure that together we will be able to move the best ideas from Norbain to the Polish market.  At Norbain Polska we will create a company that will bring the highest possible level of service to our customers."
