Antaira Technologies is a leading developer of Industrial Networking and Device connectivity solutions for harsh environment applications and is proud to be expanding its Ethernet Media Converter family with three new Ethernet over VDSL2 Bridge products, the EVC-3001, EVC-3010, and IVC-4011-T. Antaira’s new Ethernet Extender series is built with the latest VDSL2 technology and offers the absolute fastest possible data transmission speeds over existing copper telephone lines or coaxial cables without the need for rewiring. Users can easily re-deploy a new local internet in any residential area, public service facility, campus, or hospitality environment with existing phone or coaxial wires by applying any of these new Ethernet over VDSL2 Converters.

The EVC-3001 Converter has a switching architecture with 1 x RJ-45 10/100BTx Ethernet port and 2 x RJ-11 phone jacks in which 1 RJ-11 is for VDSL connection and the other is for POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) connection. The EVC-3001 provides 100/55Mbps symmetric data transmission that supports many multi-media services on the local Internet, such as VOD (Video on Demand), Voice over IP, Video phones, IPTV, Distance Education, etc.

The EVC-3010 Converter has a switching architecture with 1 x 10/100Tx Fast Ethernet Port and 1 x BNC port over Coaxial. The EVC-3010 is a high performance Ethernet-over-Coaxial converter that can extend the distance for an existing analogue system to a full digital system by transmitting the Ethernet data from the coaxial cable for any type of IP network device such as an IP camera, wireless access point, NVR system, or digital signage.

The IVC-4011-T Industrial Converter has a switching architecture with 4 x RJ45 10/100Tx Ethernet ports and 1 x Asymmetric or Symmetric Ethernet over VDSL port - the VDSL port can be either RJ-11 or a BNC Connector. The IVC-4011-T provides a high level or immunity to electromagnetic interference & heavy electrical surges typical to environments like plant floors or in curb side traffic control cabinets. It can also operate under any extreme ambient temperature range from -40 to 75°C.

Using an existing Ethernet infrastructure, users can easily deploy a new local Internet to many applications by applying any of Antaira’s new Ethernet over VDSL2 Bridge Converters.
