The 2013 SDM 100 list’s primary objective is to measure consumer dollars gained by alarm companies

Tyco Integrated Security, a Tyco company and the industry’s leading security systems integrator, has been named to the 2013 SDM 100 list from SDM Magazine. This list ranks U.S. companies that provide electronic security systems and services to both residential and non-residential customers and is based on recurring monthly revenue (RMR). This year, Tyco Integrated Security was ranked second on the list.

“It is an honour to be recognized as one of the top security companies on the 2013 SDM 100 list,” said Jay Hauhn, Vice President, Product Management and Industry Relations for Tyco Integrated Security. “As we move further into 2013, we aim to boost our revenue numbers once again by continuing to be laser focused on our current and future customers security needs.”

With more than 10,000 business security specialists in nearly 200 offices across North America, Tyco Integrated Security continues to advance commercial security by constantly looking for new ways to increase customer satisfaction and offer significant returns on investment, while introducing leading technologies to ensure businesses can choose from security options and multiple cost points that meet their individual needs.

The 2013 SDM 100 list has been published since 1991. Its primary objective is to measure consumer dollars gained by alarm companies, in order to present an account of the size of the market captured by the 100 largest security providers. For each company selected, SDM reviews how much the RMR has increased or decreased over the past year, the number of subscribers, the amount of sales revenue from residential and non-residential system installations, total gross revenue, number of full-time employees and the number of business locations, including headquarters.
