ATG Access, an innovator of road blockers, bollards and vehicle barrier systems, has announced a new partnership with light engineering specialist Bega Lighting UK.
The German firm has been mastering the engineering behind internal and external lighting for over 70 years, and has joined up with security experts ATG Access on an engineering-led project to bring a lighting solution to the security market.
Coming together to produce an ‘illuminated aesthetic sleeve,’ the two businesses have created three differently designed lighting caps, built specifically for ATG Access’ shallow mount bollards, with the intention of securing and improving urban environments across the globe.
Illuminated, tested and certified shallow foundation
Allen Cunningham, chief engineer at ATG Access, commented: “Bega is a fantastic fit for ATG Access as the company shares the same passion for engineering quality and prioritises the delivery of technology that is both functional and well-designed, in the same way that we do.
“Together we are now bringing to market a fully illuminated, tested and certified shallow foundation product that will provide security, safety and illumination to any perimeter security scheme. The coming together of the two firms for this project is a true engineering feat, and testament to the power that can be found in different engineering specialists sharing and combining their expertise.”
One of the aesthetic sleeve options was officially launched at the Security & Policing Show in Farnborough on the 5th-7th March.
