Aratek is taking its newest biometric tablet Marshall 8 to the centre-stage in Trustech 2021. The powerful yet extremely portable Marshall 8 is upping the digital identity ante by enabling true “Identity anything, anytime, anywhere,” said Samuel Wu, Vice President for International Business Division.‍

We’re excited to showcase before the audience of the largest international digital identity and security show our new product we call the Marshall 8, which is changing the game by allowing ultra-reliable identity and authentication from absolutely anywhere,” adds Samuel Wu.

Face recognition solutions

The Marshall 8, the latest to come from the best-selling Marshall line of biometric tablets, is the most advanced in its class, integrating a host of digital identity modalities from fingerprint to barcode, to NFC, iris recognition, and facial recognition — everything needed to get the job done.

Extremely sturdy and portable, the IP65-rated Marshall 8 enables users to securely manage enrolments in both indoor and outdoor environments and will perform excellently in rollouts for national ID, voter registration, SIM card activation, border control, law enforcement, financial services, mobile time attendance, and census campaigns.

Aratek is also set to take the wraps off TruFace, its fast-growing line of face recognition solutions for its much-awaited Europe debut.

Real-world problems

After making its mark in other markets, we expect Truface to capture Europe as well. It’s fast, accurate, and convenient. It will offer a real-world solution to many real-world problems in such a large and diverse market as Europe,” Samuel Wu said.

As a reaction to the touch-aversion brought on by the pandemic, contactless biometrics is quickly becoming one of the most dominant modes of digital identity and is now the most preferred option for a wide range of applications such as access control, secure identification, transaction verification, and even retail.

Versatile access control solution

The BA8300 is also capable of reading any QR code certificate such as the EU digital COVID certificate

TruFace’s innovative face detection system comes in the long line of revolutionary biometric technology from Aratek and is designed to be the right solution for many current and emergent identification and authentication applications, especially those that seek to manage the challenges brought on by COVID-19,” Samuel Wu added.

‍On display at the Aratek booth will be the IP65-rated TruFace terminal BA8300 which integrates face recognition, fingerprint scanning, barcode scanning & RFID reading to provide a versatile access control solution so critical in times such as this pandemic.

The BA8300 is also capable of reading any QR code certificate such as the EU digital COVID certificate, allowing for even stronger multi-factor authentication. It runs Aratek’s patented TrustFace Algorithm enabling Live Face Detection on the built-in dual HDR cameras for fast and accurate facial ID authentication.‍

Small capacitive sensors

Aratek is also slated to showcase its full line of FBI-certified fingerprint scanners that range from FAP 10 to FAP 60, plus fingerprint modules ranging from small capacitive sensors to dual-finger optical modules.

Trustech is one show that Aratek doesn’t want to miss because year after year, the organisers manage to draw the highest quality audience in the digital identify, security and payments industries. It gathers under one roof thousands of end-users who will benefit most from seeing Aratek’s biometric identity solutions in action, as well as those who make the purchase decisions,” Samuel Wu concludes.

The show will be on November 30 to December 2, 2021 at the Paris Expo de Versailles. Users can find Aratek at booth 5.2 D 051.
