ZeitControl cardsystems GmbH presents the world’s first RFID label with integrated microprocessor, and so showing the future in the RFID label market. In this new label ZeitControl cardsystems is fusing their competence in inventing programmable smart cards with their knowledge in the RFID sector.

The new label combines the advantages of both: BasicCard and 13.56 MHz RFID technology. The well-known BasicCard development environment allows you to create highly secure applications within a few hours, using their BASIC programming language to build even DES encrypted tasks. And all this completely contactless by using the 13.56 MHz RFID technology.

The label is available in a wide variety of shapes, and is easy to attach to nearly all surfaces. This transponder is compatible to ISO14443A and comes with 16 KByte E²PROM. Furthermore the label is able to work as NFC label (NearFieldCommunication).

The field of applications starts where normal RFID label fail due their relatively low level of security. Valuable products which need special protection are in need of the new BasicCard Label. Perfectly suited for tagging purposes, automatisation and production data recording.

To ease the access to this new technology complete development kits are available at ZeitControl; for beginners and even for the professionals.
