Peter Fry, Director of the CCTV User Group, will be holding a presentation titled "Where does CCTV go from here?" at the forthcoming SecurityVision Roadshow at the Manchester United Football Stadium on the 19th June 2007.

The presentation will look at the current state and the potential impact of both the Information Commissioner's Review of his CCTV Code of Practice and the ACPO Home Office CCTV, both of which could have major implications for those involved throughout the CCTV sector.  In addition, in taking this view into the future he will talk about converging technologies; currently in their infancy which those involved believe might change the way CCTV is monitored in the future.

The SecurityVision Roadshows organised by Forward Events Ltd are the newest and most exciting security roadshows to hit the industry.  They showcase a cross section of the latest product innovations and services on offer, including CCTV Cameras, CCTV Monitoring and Storage, IP Security, Perimeter Protection, Access Control, Alarms and Sensors, Recruitment and Manned Guarding plus many more.  In addition they also run a series of informative and educational free presentations and seminars of which the User Group are participating.

A few of the exhibitors already confirmed for the shows are Baxall, Ernitec, Genie CCTV, Mark Mercer, GPS Perimter, BC Technology, HID, SSR personnel, Romar, Frontier Pitts and Merit LiLin who will also be bringing along their LiLin CCTV Demonstration vehicle which is brimming with products, knowledgeable staff and cold drinks.

The LILIN CCTV demonstration and hospitality vehicle is the largest of its kind in Europe.  At over 38ft long, the vehicle is fully equipped to demonstrate all the key products within the LILIN product range.  This amazing vehicle and the aforementioned exhibitors will be on view starting at the Manchester Show on the 19th June 2007 at the Manchester United Stadium.
