AFAA influences codes and standards that benefit the fire alarm industry. The Association has representatives on NFPA 1, 72, 90A, 101 and 5000 technical committees and participates in the code development process of the international building, fire and residential codes. Automatic Fire Alarm Association, Inc. also provides quality education for the fire alarm system industry, fire alarm seminars and online training.
