COE Ltd demonstrates its X-Net video transmission system with its powerful analytics system (X-Net VI) and network video recorder (X-Net NVR).

COE X-Net VI is a powerful distributed analytics system taking advantage of the DSP in the X-Net G3 MPEG4 video codec.  Analysis functions include motion/non-motion object tracking.  Key advantages of our system are:

• Lower false alarm rates (FAR) due to analysis placed prior to digitisation
• Central server able to handle 100+ simultaneous video streams
• Multi-rule operation on the same video stream
• Video not required at the central location to carry out analysis hence lower network bandwidth used - video only streamed when required

X-Net NVR enhances the transmission and management of video by offering a network wide recording solution for IP and analogue video streams.  The recording software operates on a standard dual core  PC and will manage NAS and RAID based disk arrays.  Key features include:

• Archive onto DVD for evidential use
• Multi-client and server architecture for flexible system definition
