Installation Tip:
Enhancing Security with the ACTsmart2 Lock
The use of the ACT smartlock with the ACTsmart2 reader will enhance the physical security of the building by placing the lock relay in a more secure location, such as within a PSU that has tamper outputs. The ACTsmart2 keypad is installed on the unsecure side of the entry point and the smartlock is installed on the secured side.

The ACTsmart2 1090 is extremely attractive in design and is built of rugged polycarbonate with stainless steel keys. The device is designed to allow simple addition and deletion of users. It may be totally standalone or connected to other ACTsmart2 devices in a master slave mode to enable changes to all doors to be made at one door (max 8 doors).
