Tamron is featuring ‘Double Vari-Focal Lens’ solution.
This concept is two Vari-Focal Lenses consisting of wide 2.8-8mm and tele 8-50mm.
The models are:
Model M13VG288IR: 1/2.7” 2.8-8mm F/1.2 DC iris CS mount
Model M13VG850IR: 1/2.7” 8-50mm F/1.6 DC iris CS mount
Tamron believes with these two lenses most security applications will be covered and will help their customers to reduce inventory. It is as simple as choosing two lenses.
Features:
(1) Simple choice
The most used focal range from wide 2.8mm to tele-photo 50mm can be covered by only two lenses and realises horizontal field of view 126.1°to 6.8°on a 1/2.7” camera.
(2) Slim inventory
By this simple line-up, you do not need to keep inventory with various models and the number of product items could be reduced.
(3) 3 Mega-pixel/ full HD 1080p for both day and night
Realised 3 Mega-Pixel for both visible and infrared lighting condition
(4) Flat-field Mega-pixel
Corner to corner Mega-Pixel resolution is guaranteed. No need to compromise corner images.
(5) Compatible with large imager sensors
Designed for 1/2.7” sensors. Therefore useful for 1/2.7”, 1/2.8”, and 1/3” cameras
