SALTO XS4 Energy Saving Devices that helps to save up to 65%* of a hotel room or student dorms electricity consumption and unlike standard (magnetic stripe) energy savers, only authorised SALTO key cards will switch on the lights. It is also available in a connected on-line version, which as well as energy saving indicates in real time the presence of guests or staff in a room, logging the information directly into the hotel PC. When a guest enters the room and inserts their card into the ESD it switches on all electrical equipment. When staff enter the room for cleaning or maintenance, the ESD recognises their staff card and switches on only the electrical equipment they need to do their work.

SALTO WRMKP Key Pad allows for additional use of a Personal Identification Number (PIN). It features door code only option for non key holders. It also includes Timed PIN option for ID carrier only operation and then ID carrier plus PIN use. The SALTO GEO half cylinder is suitable for swing handle servers rack as well as for use on applications where a control of the operation of the rack is needed enhancing the control and security of the access to the server racks. All communications between the carrier and the SALTO GEO cylinder are encrypted and secure. It also offers high security via high resistance and hardened anti-drill protection.

The versatile XS4 Keypad escutcheon from SALTO Systems is designed to provide increased protection and control for doors where extra security may be required. Available in both wire free and wireless versions, the new product offers users a choice of multiple security authentication methods to control access including proximity card, combined use of a PIN code + proximity card or a separate keypad code. Users can have up to an 8-digit PIN Code. XS4 Keypad can be operated in 3 modes: proximity card only, PIN (Personal Identification Number) code + proximity card or keypad code only. With standard proximity card mode the lock is locked at all times until opened with the users proximity card that has access rights to the room. When using PIN code + card mode each user has their own personal code. Typically this might be used in student dorms, where extra security and dual authentication (presenting both a card and typing in the PIN code) are needed.
