TKH Security Solutions keeps commerce afloat at the Port of Bangkok
For years, containers passing through the Port of Bangkok had to be scanned and registered manually and the road leading to the port was often backed up. The Port Authority of Thailand therefore decided to upgrade and automate its system.
TKH Security Solutions helped to design and deploy a network that uses content analysis and number recognition to identify and catalogue the containers. TKH Security Solutions delivered hundreds of its Siqura PTZ IP dome cameras to stream video and analytics material to a central control room, where operators can keep an overview of the security situation and take action when necessary. The cameras also provide an audio channel, which is used for intercom communication between the gate control room and truck drivers, as well as for making public announcements. Ultimately, this new system cuts the time it takes to clear containers by more than half.
