William C. Jackson serves as Vice President and President of the company’s Building Efficiency business. He joined Johnson Controls in 2011 as Executive Vice President of operations and innovation, responsible for leading business unit transformation across the company. He also previously served as President, Automotive Electronics & Interiors, and in 2013, was named Executive Vice President, Corporate Development. Prior to joining Johnson Controls, Jackson worked for 20 years as a consultant, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and Board Member of Booz, Allen & Hamilton and Booz & Company. Early in his career, he worked as an engineer and program manager for Lockheed (formerly General Dynamics), researching composite materials for fighter aircraft applications. Jackson is a board member of Metaldyne Performance Group. He also serves as the Chairman of the Engineering Board of Visitors at the University of Illinois. Jackson holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
