Wireless Bridge is a compact 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi kit designed to allow individual ZKAccess C3 and InBio door controllers to connect with wireless access points up to 300 feet away when the door controllers are installed outdoors
Harnessing the convenience of wireless communication, the Wireless Bridge
saves the installer material cost and valuable time

ZKAccess, a leading provider of biometric and RFID security solutions, is pleased to announce the availability of its Wireless Bridge kit for ZKAccess RFID and Biometric door controllers. The kit provides customers the absolute fastest, easiest, least expensive way to install and manage their ZKAccess door access control systems.

Wireless Bridge is a compact 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi kit designed to allow individual ZKAccess C3 and InBio door controllers to connect with wireless access points up to 300 feet away when the door controllers are installed outdoors. Typical Wi-Fi ranges up to 150 feet can be expected when ZKAccess door controllers are installed indoors. Range boosters are available upon request.

The Wireless Bridge kit includes a PCB board, mounting plate, external antenna and connecting wires. The kit can be quickly and easily installed inside the ZKAccess door controller’s metal enclosure.

Operates seamlessly with ZKAccess traditional wired door controllers

Harnessing the convenience of wireless communication, the Wireless Bridge saves the installer material cost and valuable time since the installer no longer needs to run CAT5e/6 cable when connecting ZKAccess door access controllers to the network. And, unlike competing vendors whose wireless door controllers all require expensive wireless transmitters (using mesh network design), ZKAccess wireless door controllers operate seamlessly with ZKAccess traditional wired door controllers.

"We are very pleased to bring our Wireless Bridge to market," says Larry Reed, CEO, ZKAccess. "Today, customers mostly care about installation cost/time. Prior to our Wireless Bridge, customers had less than a handful of wireless access control vendors to choose from, which allowed for inflated purchase prices. Now with our Wireless Bridge, ZKAccess dealers currently pay less than $950 for a complete 4-door wireless card access system which also includes the readers, REXs, 50 prox cards and software. Now that's a real cost-savings."
